Both. It works as an ordinary mascara for thickness and curl, and the formula contains a 7% Infinity LashFlex Complex of plant waxes and acacia gum that conditions the lashes while you wear it. You do not need a separate serum step.

What is the silicone brush like to use?

It is a tower-shaped silicone brush rather than a bristle one. The narrow tip reaches the shorter lashes in the inner corners, and the silicone combs lashes apart as it coats them, which keeps the finish separated.

How do I take it off at the end of the day?

Use a normal eye make-up remover on a cotton pad. Hold it against the closed eye for a few seconds to soften the formula, then wipe downwards rather than rubbing, so you do not pull at the lashes.
